Jim here. Not a great surprise, but it is nice to have closure on it. As we reported back in July, Disney's TR2N will indeed be shot in stereoscopic 3D.
I think this movie will look absolutely stunning in 3D. Disney knows how to amp up the effects so stay tuned for more on this one. As I said before, I hope this turns out to be what Speed Racer was meant to be all along (and maybe Speed Racer 2?).
