Fox is now joining the 3D sporting ranks alongside the NFL and NBA as it will be broadcasting a college football game on January 8th, 2009. David Hill, CEO made the announcement at the 3D Entertainment Summit in LA.

No further details about the game were given. I have always said - of all the sporting events that could be displayed in 3D, football makes the most sense to me. More when I get it...
