One by one, detail by detail, we get to hear a lot from the fifth retread of the popular horror-parody movie series, Scary Movie 5. This time around a Heather Locklear (The Perfect Man) is casted who will play mother to Ashley Tisdale's character. Locklear and Tisdale's on-screen relationship should be remnant to what involved in Blackswan with Natalie Portman and Barbara Hershey.
The Malcolm Lee and Dimension co-prod, at David Zucker's helm, groups together Ashley Tisdale (High School Musical), Erica Ash, Terry Crews (The Expendables 2), Lindsay Lohan (I Know Who Killed Me), Charlie Sheen (Red Dawn) and Molly Shannon (Scary Movie 4). The pic centers on three dancers (undisclosed who is yet, though Tisdale is sure one of them), who eagerly fights over a role in a show by a hypersexual and an obnoxious director. This time, SM5 will take Black Swan, Paranormal Activity, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, 127 Hours to parody.
