Jim here. Well how about it? After seeing what modern 3D can do for recent releases and with this being the year of 3D, lets send a message to all those studios and 2D to 3D conversion companies out there: Here is what we would like to see in 3D!
Personally, the movies that I have at the top of my head are: LOTR Trilogy, THE MATRIX, UNFORGIVEN, PSYCHO, GLADIATOR, STAR TREK II, WESTWORLD, REAR WINDOW, SAVING PRIVATE RYAN, FULL METAL JACKET, MIDNIGHT RUN (yeah! I love that movie), THE EXORCIST, THE STING and SCARFACE.

In fact, this MarketSaw reader invites you to email him at breakingwavepro@yahoo.com with the subject "Hey 3-D Guy-who would rather be SURFING at SUNSET CLIFFS" to tell him what ideas you might have *after* you post them here :-) Thought that was cool.
I know some companies have already started. I won't say who or what yet, but they are welcome to post what their current projects are if they so wish.
I have said it before: Don't limit your thoughts to color movies! I think a black and white movie converted to modern 3D would add another layer of suspense that would, for example, REALLY put Hitchcock films over the edge, like PSYCHO.
So what movies would YOU like to see converted?
