Info Post
Swiftly approaching is a seventh appearance from "leatherface", the famed antagonist from the reality-based franchise, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Texas Chainsaw 3D from time to time gives generous peeks of what you can expect from it and this time around, we've got the first picture.

Displaying a back-shot of "leatherface" (Okay, I should probably take out the quotation marks) on the trails to a meat grind house isn't much to startle for. But he's headed to his "torture house", so we should, even at the first place we should have, expect at least enough grotesque. That and less than that, in the film would be too devastating. It's too early to judge, but a trailer must not come far, so let's wait.

The pic is a direct sequel to the original 1974 Tobe Hooper film and will be set after the events of the horrific massacre. Heather (Alexandra Daddario, Bereavament) is the one concerned, at least until she and a couple of her friends go and scout her inheritance from a relative she never knew. Leatherface, sadly, comes with the package.

Directed by John Leussenhop (Takers), the seventh retread of the franchise is due on theaters early next year, January 4th.
