Info Post
Coming on Blu-Ray in September 25th at US stands is The Avengers (We already got Avengers here in the Philippines, retailed exclusively via Odyssey) and fanboys could not be more deafening. It's the biggest movie of the year, what kind of pic it would have been if it didn't deserved such reception? Thousands of fans will be able to watch the pic in their LEDs after that date, and will also have tons of special features that come with the package.

Speaking of package, Marvel is possibly getting sued because of packaging issues with their biggest merchandise so far: Avengers Assembled. The 10-disc set will have all Marvel films before The Avengers and it, and a couple of Marvel stuff enough to make fanboys drop unconscious. The collection also include a slick collectible casing which is a complete replica of Nick Fury's briefcase. Head inside to see what it looks like.

See, according to Rinowa, company who modeled the briefcase, Marvel do not have any rights to make replicas of the material. THR reports that Rinowa is in fact in the process of filing a lawsuit to the famed studio and says: "Marvel did not obtain any license or authorization from Rimowa to make replica copies of the cases for any purpose." The aforementioned briefcase was licensed specifically for the movies, and only for that, but using it in distribution of Blu-Rays is a different story, they tell THR.

Marvel won't stop in distribution despite this imminent lawsuit. If cases are filed, a big chunk of the 1-billion-dollar earnings should be sent directly to fix the problem, and will probably keep Marvel knelt for quite some time, but the studio should be fine with this, or eitherway.
