While Anna Faris won't be back in this (which sucks), BlackFilm.com tells that Simon Rex (from the last two films) will be coming back, although of which character he's playing is yet to be disclosed. Rex played George, a run-by-the-mill horror film leading man, who appeared in the third movie. He was assumed dead in the next one, although appeared in some flashbacks. Rex will be joining Charlie Sheen and Molly Shannon returning to the franchise.
Ashley Tisdale (High School Musical), Erica Ash, Marisa Saks, Terry Crews (The Expendables 2) and Lindsay Lohan are all in for the ride. Lohan and Sheen, however, as we all knew, are going to be killed in the opening sequence of the pic.
The movie unveils its official synopsis: “The plot involves Three dancers — one veteran performer and two upstarts who are also best friends — vie for the lead in a new production from a snooty, aloof, imperious, and oversexed director.” The “reboot” will spoof Black Swan, Paranormal Activity, Rise of the Planet of the Apes and 127 Hours.
The pic is due on theaters April 19th 2013.
