What an awesome premise for a family 3D movie! Food pours down from above just when the a town called Chewandswallow needs it most - however it soon overwhelms everyone. Especially when Gorgonzola cheese, overcooked broccoli and brussel sprouts was the menu one day - not especially popular (although I love broccoli and brussel sprouts!).
Sony Pictures (Digital Production division) Prez Bob Osher said "The story is about 'food weather' and so food falling from the sky lends itself so well to 3-D". Definitely will. And kids will absolutely love it.
3DPic is scheduled for Jan. 15, 2010. If you saw "Beowulf" and enjoyed it then you will be in for a treat - "Cloudy" uses the same 3D techniques by Sony Pictures Imageworks' animation!
