Info Post
We knew David Archuleta had legions of fans, but we didn't fully find out how vocal and enthusiastic they were until a few dozen cheering Archuleta acolytes turned up in front of the Billboard offices to greet the "American Idol" season seven runner-up as he left the building after doing our Live Q&A. Archuleta fans, this was clearly your moment. The 19-year-old singer came to Billboard's New York HQ on October 5 and answered your questions live on camera the very day his new album "The Other Side Of Down" was released.

Watch the archived video of the whole conversation, where David talks about everything from overcoming vocal cord paralysis to his thoughts on "American Idol" without Simon to the songwriting process on his new album.

His new album is the follow up to his 2008 self-titled debut, which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. Last winter his "Christmas From The Heart" seasonal collection rose to No. 2 on the Holiday Albums chart. Shortly after Billboard.com readers voted David the best "American Idol" contestant ever, he released "Something 'Bout Love," the first single from "The Other Side Of Down."
