Wie krass kann man eigentlich sein!? Otaking aka Paul Johnson hat im Alleingang in fast vier Jahren einen 12 minütigen Fan Anime im 80er Jahre Stil zu Doktor Who animiert. Mit dem dritten Doctor (Jon Pertwee), zwei Meistern (Anthony Ainley und Roger Delgado), Daleks, Cybermen und natürlich noch Davros. Das ganze sieht ein wenig so aus als hätten die Macher von Bubblegum Crisis sich ordentlich mit Sake volllaufen lassen und hätten ihrer Doktor Who Obsession freien lauf gelassen.
Auch wenn der Zeichenstil nicht so ganz meinen Geschmack trifft, was Anime anbelangt, muss ich echt vor Otaking meinen Hut ziehen. So ein krasses Projekt kriegt man selten zu Gesicht. Vorallem ist es eine feine Sache mal Doctor Who Fan-Artwork zu sehen, dass nix mit Slasher-Fiction zu tun hat. Egal in welcher Form... oO

13 minutes of the completed fake Doctor Who 80s-style anime. Drawn, animated and partially voiced by myself. Some bits are good, some bits are poor, but on the whole it turned out okay, I think. Enjoy! This is old school Who, so fans of the new reboot show may be confused by the fact that the Doctor is doing martial arts and Cybermen say “excellent.” Watch the classics and you’ll understand. You’ll also become almost instantly more handsome by watching classic Who.
