FIRST LOOK: The 'Evil Dead' Remake Official Trailer is Finally Here

Today we got our hands on the first official red band 'Evil Dead' trailer. This particular trailer was initially shown over NYCC and received mixed reactions from those who attended. Despite this, the trailer registers as a clear look on how creepy and gory the film will get, which is a lot. I still have fear that it will top the original, but in good chances, this remake will not suck. Head inside to watch the trailer.

Under Film District and directed by Fede Alverez, the remake of the Sam Raimi cult classic concerns five young friends who unknowingly summon a troop of demonic creatures ('Deadites'), terrorizing them until their forthcoming demise finally arrive. The pic stars Shiloh Fernandez, Lou Taylor Pucci, Elizabeth Blackmore, and Jessica Lucas. Bruce Campbell, who appeared in the original film, is rumored to appear on a role for the film.

Evil Dead is due on theaters spring next year, April 12th.
