"Django Unchained" Plot enthüllt

Nachdem vorgestern der offizielle Titel von Quentin Tarantino's neuem Film - inklusive Deckblatt von Script - gibt eine anonyme Quelle bei IndieWire an, das Script zu kennen und konnte schon was zum Plot sagen:

Django is a freed slave, who, under the tutelage of a German bounty hunter (played by Christopher Waltz the evil Nazi officer in Inglorious Basterds) becomes a bad-ass bounty hunter himself, and after assisting Waltz in taking down some bad guys for profit, is helped by Waltz in tracking down his slave wife and liberating her from an evil plantation owner. And that doesn’t even half begin to cover it! This film deals with racism as I’ve rarely seen it handled in a Hollywood film. While it’s 100 percent pure popcorn and revenge flick, it is pure genius in the way it takes on the evil slave owning south. Think of what he did with the Nazis in Inglorious and you’ll get a sense of what he’s doing with slave owners and slave overseers in this one.”

Christoph Waltz als Kopfgeldjäger. In einem Tarantino-Film. Mal ganz was neues. Ich fänd's es ja extrem lustig  wenn Tarantino das Konzept der Verwandtschaft seiner Charaktere weiterführt und es sich bei Waltz' Figur um den Großvater oder Onkel o.ä. von Hans Landa handeln würde. Bleibt natürlich noch die Frage wer Django spielen soll. Samuel L. Jackson wäre natürlich der übliche Verdächtige an dieser Stelle. Immerhin hatte er (außer in Reservoir Dogs) in jedem Tarantino mindestens eine kleine Rolle.

Cool wäre auch Fred Williamson aus dem Original Inglorios Bastards/Ein Haufen verwegener Hunde und From Dusk till Dawn. Allerdings ist der Gute schon über 70 und büßt dadurch schon ein Stückchen Glaubhaftigkeit ein. Ich würde ja gern Ken Foree (Dawn of the Dead)  als Django sehen. Der ist ja erst 63.^^

Hauptsache Q kommt nicht mit Denzel Washington oder Will Smith um die Ecke...
