Info Post
The uproar the debut trailer for World War Z has some audacity. This is because of the "zombies" that run faster like triathletes! No zombies can run that fast, I'm pretty sure. Brad Pitt (Inglorious Basterds) is in the center of the very loose movie adaptation of the book: "World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War" by Max Brooks. It follows a Gerry Lane (Pitt), a UN employee who is stuck in the middle of a zombie pandemic that threatens the safety of the human race. He is forced to take measures in order to stop the imminent demise and extermination of humanity. Anyone else find the plot alike "I Am Legend"? I thought so.

I Am Legend had so much potential if the "zombies" weren't appearing as if they're part of the X-Men or something. And I'm afraid we're facing the same crazy-raged people here. No triathlete could run that fast, and you expect us to believe a rotten corpse could? Everything else on the trailer looks first rate, so I might as well give this a shot (I'm a sucker for zombies, after all).

The movie is directed by Marc Foster who did the Bond-lackluster Quantum Of Solace (until the day I die, I'll always dislike QoS) and will also star Mireille Enos, Daniella Kertesz, James Badge Dale, Matthew Fox and David Morse. Under Paramount, World War Z is reaching screens June 21st next year. (Don't suck it up, Foster. Because it's my birthday, your movie's release). Grab a peek on the movie by watching the trailer below.
