Fans have a couple of months more to spend before the Evil Dead remake arrives on theaters. Fortunately, promotional campaign has been consistent and frankly impressive; we initially received a first look of the new film's version of 'Deadites', an official trailer and now on our hands is a first look at the Book of the Dead, simply called Necronomicon, which you will see as you read to the very end of this post.
Under Film District and directed by Fede Alverez, the remake of the Sam Raimi cult classic concerns five young friends who unknowingly summon a troop of demonic creatures ('Deadites'), terrorizing them until their forthcoming demise finally arrive. The pic stars Shiloh Fernandez, Lou Taylor Pucci, Elizabeth Blackmore, and Jessica Lucas. Bruce Campbell, who appeared in the original film, is rumored to appear on a role for the film.
