Info Post
While Batman trilogy director Christopher Nolan always dismissed the idea of a fourth Batman movie (at least he won't direct), fans of the franchise wonder if John Blake (Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Inception) is going to be heir of the franchise, especially with what the ending of The Dark Knight Rises implied.

Gordon-Levitt is easily loved with his solid acts from being a frustrated lover in (500) Days of Summer, an absurdly troubled cancer patient in 50/50 to being a memory-thief via dreaming in a powerful thriller Inception

Premium Rush, an action movie in which he is lead star, will open in theaters soon and is about a NY-based bike messenger who gets a hold of a package that proves important to a dirty cop. Another is Looper, a movie about time travelling.

With these projects lined up, fans' speculations could no longer be settled down so Joseph Gordon-Levitt himself seats with The Hollywood Reporter's Heat Vision and clarifies stuff up.

“I always choose scripts the same way,” he tells THR. “If it’s a great script and a great filmmaker, then I’m interested.”

He indeed have worked with a couple of good ones like Marc Webb ([500] Days of Summer and The Amazing Spider-Man) and Nolan whom he worked with Inception and TDKR. Nolan already dismissed the idea of directing a possible fourth and Rises will be his final helm to the franchise.

In the ending, Gordon-Levitt's character John Blake finds his way to the Batcave implying that he might continue the legacy that Bruce Wayne have once lead. Despite of this, no one involved in the franchise confirms anything. He adds, “I don’t think [the ending of The Dark Knight Rises] is necessarily a set-up. I think it is the great ending for that trilogy,” he said. “Even if you go back to Batman Begins, he’s talking about how Batman is more than a man, it’s a symbol, and a hero can be anybody and we all have heroes inside of us."

It's wishful thinking, but boy how delish could that movie be. Let's be twitter friends, follow me @ArmandDC!
