The long-delayed Marvel feature The Wolverine is finally on its way, with details unveiled one by one, the clarification that this feat won't be connected with Origins, and that it won't be overpopulated with mutants, we are now down with the official synopsis.
"Based on the celebrated comic book arc, THE WOLVERINE finds Logan, the eternal warrior and outsider, in Japan. There, samurai steel will clash with adamantium claw as Logan confronts a mysterious figure from his past in an epic battle that will leave him forever changed."
James Mangold sits on the director's chair for this Marvel pic. Mangold has been tweeting about the flick, some will follow.

The pic will be running on a script written by Christopher McQuarrie (The Usual Suspects) remade by Die Hard 4 scriptwriter Mark Bomback. Starring Hugh Jackman, the film also stars Will Yun Lee, Hiroyuki Sanada, Hal Yamanouchi, Tao Okamoto, and Rila Fukushima.
The Wolverine will open in US theaters 26th of June, 2012.
