Info Post
Universal have some few tweaking with its major movies' release dates (via Deadline) of which affecting mostly is 47 Ronin starring Keanu Reeves.

The martial arts-heavy pic, about a man who joins with a band of samurai in pursuit the avenging of their master, was initially attached to an earlier release date of November 14 of the current year. This was pushed to a next year February 8 release date, of what is yet again to go under a release date change.

47 Ronin will be open on theaters Christmas 2013, which is the season for many high-caliber movies to appear (Oscars is observant in this season).

Kick-Ass 2 looks like to be the one behind this movement, having the comic book movie put in first place with a June 28 release (shooting is due to start in September). This will push Identity Thief, a Jason Bateman comedy, to 47 Ronin's prior February 8 release date. Jurrasic Park 3D will settle for the now open April 5 spot, initially announced to open in July 19.

The troubled Japan-set action is grouped among promising movies, but I've ran out of means to even figure out if 47 Ronin, itself will stay consistent with its group.

As the saying goes, we'll just have to wait and see.
