Bait 2 has been greenlighted and is already on early stages of development. It's predecessor which came out in the middle of the year is an Aussie-shark movie that centered in a supermarket flooded by a freak tsunami that drove hungry twelve-foot great whites. The sequel is the same deal, this time, occurring in LA, a great tidal wave wipes off the shore of the City of Angels, trapping five students on detention in their private school.
The school is quickly flooded and the waters begin to rise. Much like what happened with the first film, the freak tsunami brought in a couple of great whites, this sequel, the survivors are faced with a gigantic fifteen-feet tall great white shark which marked the school as its new hunting ground.
No one has been announced to be attached for the moment. Stick around for a couple of weeks and the sequel will tap on shoulders. Meanwhile, courtesy of our friend and godfather Bloody-Disgusting, you can take a look at these promo photos that were dispersed in earlier's American Film Market in Santa Monica.
