Having the shade of 'Shark Night 3D' directed by Eli Roth, 'Woods' similarly decides a remote cabin as its setting. Hidden under the sleeves of the plot is a variation that distinguishes it from other typical cabin horror, again similar to 'Shark Night 3D' far different from other jaw-movie.
A group of teenagers went for a weekend vacation. Their destination? Guess: Cabin in the Woods? Very good, Einstein!
The movie feels doubting to watch. I have this skepticism about the film because of the teen-centered concept. Horny bitches, we can tolerate. But having 'Thor' involved with some banging in the woods, I don't think so. The effects look decent; but decency of visual and special effects is not the dead-end. For additional confusion, I loved how it worked out as a very distinct cabin film. Whut??
Well, anyhow, this feels fresh to the theaters, having it and Stephen King's Under the Dome resemble to one another.
