Info Post
It's no secret to, I assume, everyone in the world how great the volume of George Clooney's skills is. If there was a sly movie, directed by such a real-deal skillful director, Clooney's talents are of the size that fits perfectly like legos.

Matthew King (Clooney) is a lawyer that belongs to the family of the fortunate, and is a loving family man, whose wife struggles to transcend the coma stage. Matt finds the help of his daughters: a rebellious Alexandra (Shailene Woodley), and a younger lass, Scottie (Amara Miller). Family matters occupy Matt, summing up with him brokering his family's massive land property on hold for real estate people. He is to be surprised to find out that his wife had an affair, and he is then determined to find his wife's lover.

Working behind the camera, Alexander Payne, seemed to be a dual fulcrum that sets betrayal, death, and family misery into even levels, respectively. What Payne does that ultimately stuns me, is that he does manage to move the story along with webs of characters in such elegant fashion that he had 'Descendants' end up as an entertaining and gritty film. Shailene is tastefully convincing, playing a drugging rebel, that fully supports his father through most of the film, which is the best trait that I found of her character in this film. The Descendants eases to comfort its audience even to the most painful miseries that happens through the flick.

With a skillful director that does his job, and the exact measurements of ingredients written in his recipe, 'The Descendants' marks a movie that might be visible to most of the awards night over Hollywood. 4.5 stars.
