Something just made my day.
Fede Alvarez's remake of Sam Raimi's (Spider-Man) cult favorite Evil Dead has released its red band trailer. It has a lot of blood and gore as anything less is subpar. More than this, however, the trailer gives us a journey back to the equally bloody original without getting to the point of mimicry. It's all bits crazy and I love it.

Starring Jane Levy ("Suburgatory"), Shiloh Fernandez (Red Riding Hood), Lou Taylor Pucci (Carriers), Elizabeth Blackmore ("Legend of the Seeker") and Jessica Lucas (Cloverfield); the movie follows five twenty-something friends who unknowingly summon dormant demons which soon possess them leading to their own demise until only one remains survivor.
I want it now, but it won't open in theaters until April 12th. Fuck, that trailer was amazing.
