Info Post
Kate Beckinsale is back for more fiend--include herds of lycans, humans, and her species, vampires--slaying after taking a break from her Selene-character via the prologue: 'Underworld: Rise of the Lycans' in this fourth movie that seemed to veer from being on the horror genre to a somewhat resembling to fantasy. However the big comeback isn't enough to salvage the franchise.

Selene, frozen down, thaws into a series of frenzy killing when she finds out that for 12 years she'd been inside-ice literally, human discovered  the existence of Vampires and Lycans, and is on the vanguard of discovering a way of destroying both immortal clans.

Underworld: Awakening might be a bag of imperfections. However what's inside? If you thought that Selene's physical strength slipped from being exhilarating to unrealistic. Then you have guessed it right. If you then thought that the special effects veered from stunning to the eyes, now too surreal. Then you have guessed it right again. And ultimately, if you thought that Selene's reaping was not developed skillfully, then my friend, you are an intellectual person. The only thing that is in fact likable about this movie, is that human, instead of the vamps, or drooling huge puppies, in retrospect to the earlier film, is more deeply attached to the storyline.

Underworld: Awakening is an amount of piercing blue-eyed vampires, and well, werewolves too, with a sting of human's, that offers only that. However fans of the franchise are expected to pay good money, and oh, it's on 3D. 2 stars!
