Info Post

Last month we've posted a set of actors considered for the role of Harry Osborn for Marc Webb's upcoming superhero sequel, The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Dane DeHaan whom you might know from recent movies like Chronicle and Lawless, takes on the role, Webb announces via Twitter.
Harry, son to Spider-Man's deadliest enemy Green Goblin (Norman Osborn), is Peter Parker's best friend and classmate and later becomes Green Goblin himself. In the ever-loved trilogy by Sam Raimi, Norman is played by Willem Defoe and Harry, James Franco.

Osborn's role will be depicted as a darker and edgier version, more outgoing and athletic; the former making DeHaan a good fit in the role (I've been rooting for him ever since the list). We've all seen how he handled "crazy" back in Chronicle and it's pretty exciting to think how things will turn out with him.

Meanwhile, Andrew Garfield (The Social Network) and Emma Stone (Easy A) are confirmed to be back on the sequel, due on theaters May 2nd, 2014. Shailene Woodley is officially playing Mary Jane Watson.

In the press release that was dispersed, Jamie Foxx (Django Unchained) who is hotly rumored to play Elektro, is confirmed to join the cast too. More news as we hear more.
