Rumors were building up that Hugh Jackman are in talks to reprise his Wolverine role until it was finally confirmed. Consequentlly, Access Hollywood spoke with Jackman regarding his possible involvement with Bryan Singer's upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past, and the actor appeared open about the possibility. If we get a yes anytime soon, Jackman will join the confirmed cast comprised of Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult and The Hunger Games's Jennifer Lawrence.
Jackman did a cameo (only lasting a couple of seconds) in the first prequel movie X-Men: First Class and it would fit if he goes with the movie.
Based on the 141st and the 142nd 'Uncanny X-Men' comics, Days of Future Past will concern the X-Men in an alternate future wherein an important part of the government is killed, triggering a chaotic battle involving sentinels. The Chris Claremont and John Bryne comic book is translated into film by Sherlock Holmes scribe, Simon Kinberg. It reaches screens July 18, 2014.
His musical film Les Miserables will open in theaters this yuletide. Jackman additionally appears in an another X-Men movie, The Wolverine, which comes out July 26th next year.
