Info Post

This news shouldn't surprise you: they're making the fifth Paranormal Activity and it will reach screens no later than Halloween next year. If you thought Paranormal Activity 4 sucking both commercial and critical aspects will stop the franchise from moving, well you're wrong. The franchise is here to stay. And frankly, I couldn't be more happy about this. The fourth one really sucked (read my disillusionment here) comparing how better the third Paranormal did, and it's such a good franchise that ending it like that would be disrespectful. Nonchalantly speaking, you can't f*cking end Paranormal without revealing Toby's face! We all need a glimpse of him (or maybe not, I'm just obsessing the idea). You can't end a good franchise with a bad sequel, nonetheless.

Paranormal Activity 4 was released in local US theaters over a month ago and grossed $53 Million. Over $82 Million of ticket sales are rolling in from foreign theaters. This sums up to only $135 Million, only three-quarters of what the first film has grossed back in 2009.

BoxOfficeMojo has updated their site, telling that the planned fifth movie is going to hit theaters October 25th next year. Details will eventually emerge and as such events happen, I will have you guys updated first thing. Leave me a comment below on whether or not you're excited about the planned sequel.
