Serious money is earned when a movie is shown in 3D. And unsurprisingly, the Nolan-Snyder collab superhero movie Man Of Steel will undergo post-conversion to 3D, too. The Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures project has announced that the movie is going to have the film shown in all formats: traditional, 2D, 3D and IMAX.
Zack Snyder tells that "the film is going to be a visually exciting experience in all formats: 2D, 3D and IMAX. Anticipating how audiences today embrace 3D, we designed and photographed the movie in a way that would allow 'Man of Steel' to captivate those moviegoers, while respecting fans who prefer a more traditional cinematic experience. We've taken great measures to ensure the film and the story come first, and 3D is meant as an enhancement." Smooth talking, Snyder.
The film follows a story written by The Dark Knight Trilogy filmmaker Christopher Nolan and David S. Goyer concerning an infant from outer space. The infant has crashed on the phase of the earth, adopted by a kindhearted family and grown as a human. Eventually, Clark Kent (Henry Cavill, The Immortals) will learn that he has superhuman abilities. He vows to defend his foster planet from any evil that may come to harm it. Man Of Steel also stars Michael Shannon (Revolutionary Road), Kevin Costner (Dance With Wolves) and Diane Lane.
Directed by Zack Snyder (Watchmen), Man of Steel will be reaching screens June 14th next year.
