The set-up: A group of college kids drive down into the woods to go camping only to find themselves killed in absurd manners. Two accused "hillbillies" are believed to have done it.
Directed by Eli Craig, "Tucker & Dale VS. Evil" succeeds in generating a respectable amount of gore, and laughs. "Dumb & Dumber" stars, and a guy who was killed on a coaster, Final Destination 3, and a blonde that just stirs a "hillbilly" kind of flick just right. Following somehow, the paths of Shaun of the Dead, and Zombieland, "Tuck and Dale" presents collided giggles and grips, as it executes the kill scenes--music, effects, timing--just fun, at the right moment. Telling the tale of a script that is well-written, the film, only concludes one that is chaotically funny. An implausible flow of events, though does not affirm to bring down the movie. Personally, the last 20 minutes blow my laugh strings, and then at the same time, stuns my eyes of gore and thrill.
"Tucker & Dale VS. Evil" is an upended plot of the prominent: "Wrong Turn", however, fortunately, Tuck & Dale was good enough not to turn the quality upside down too. 4 stars.
