After contributing the only few efficient one-liners in The Expendables 2 as Trench, Arnold Schwarzenegger is swift to land back on theaters with a new action film called The Last Stand. Today, a new poster for the pic was released and IGN has got their hands on it. The poster looks gritty and nonchalantly saying, "awesome", but then again, it's a known fact that in movie posters, anything that looks old-school or retrospective looks great.
The pic, worked on behind-cam by Korean director Jee-woon Kim (I Saw the Devil, A Tale of Two Sisters), is about a sheriff (Schwarzenegger) who tries to stop a drug cartel speeding through the Mexican border.
With a script written by Andrew Knauer and cinematography by Ji-Yong Kim (A Bittersweet Life),The Last Stand is looking like an excellent addition to Schwarzenegger's lead-starring projects. He will be joined by Genesis Rodriguez (Man on a Ledge) and Jaimie Alexander (Thor).
Take a peek on the poster, as you head inside.
The movie will open in US theaters January 18, 2013.
