Without question, Marvel is currently the most popular movie studio, with The Avengers taking the third spot on cinema's top-grossing of all time and other standalone superhero movie series like Thor, Iron-Man, Captain America, Incredible Hulk drawing in, not only millions of additional gross, but an onslaught of crazed and loyal fanboys all over the world. A fortunate fact is that Marvel compensates its fandom with what news we all want to hear like Joss Whedon, committed to make more Marvel films for the next few years.
This time around, we learn that Ant-Man, one of the original members of The Avengers (based on the comics) will get a standalone superhero movie, as Marvel and distributor Disney confirm. Ant-Man, to those who don't know, has the ability to shift sizes from his normal build to a miniature of himself, and was the love interest of The Wasp, another member of the original Avengers in the comics.
The film, set to be released November 6, 2015, shares the year of release with The Avengers 2 which is hoped to be on theaters earlier on May 1st. No other details were announced as for the green-lighted Ant-Man movie, but as for other films in the Marvel Universe: it has been confirmed that both Iron Man 3 and Thor: The Dark World will be internationally released in 3D.
