Info Post
After a load of teasing mediums - a comic-con preview clip, a teaser trailer, a band of Iron Man suits photos - the first official trailer for the hotly anticipated super saga Iron Man 3 finally lands online. The threequel to the Iron Man series is the very beginning of what the fanboys call "Phase Two" for the Marvel cinematic universe.

Under Kiss Kiss Bang Bang director Shane Black's helm, Iron Man 3 follows Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.), as his life and those who are close to him are threatened, having his identity as Iron Man out in public. The Mandarin turns the industrialist down, leaving him to fight back with very limited resources and to save the things that he is defined by: Pepper (Gwyneth Paltrow) and mankind.

Jon Favreau, who reprises his role as Happy Hogan, steps off from the director's chair. Some event that is immensely resembling with the X-Men movies when Bryan Singer temporarily gives the directing job to filmmaker Brett Ratner. Ratner's take on X-Men: The Last Stand wasn't received well, and while I don't fear this to be something forthcoming - Black has made good films like Predator and Lethal Weapon - it's better be prepared than get disappointed all the sudden.

The trailer featured only the dramatics that is in the film, or presumably, only a part of what is in it. Iron Man 3, based from the synopses that was initially released, will put Iron Man in a devastated situation, so it's only right to know that a lot of dramatics are in store. While missing the staple "Stark" one liners, the trailer was put together really well, and follows the trend for superhero movie trailers like The Dark Knight Rises and Man of Steel.  We also get to see The Madarin (played by Ben Kingsley) closer (lovin' them rings and the unnerving voiceover).

The pic is only one of the two Marvel films to be released next year - after this, Thor: The Dark World, if the slated release is going to be followed (November 8th), will follow Iron Man 3 which is due on theaters May 3rd. Both films are to be released on 3D. Head inside for the full trailer.
