FIRST LOOK: New Poster for 'Silent Hill: Revelation 3D' Looks Chillingly Mute!

Open Road films just dissipated a new poster for Silent Hill: Revelation 3D, which looks freakishly mute. The poster, which you will see as you head inside, is a parallel to the first movie's poster (take a look here for the comparison). Not less than retrospective, but is legitimately chilling - we are more than compensated for taking in some of the worse posters that they initially released. And so far, the promotion gets a little bit kickier, and more and more, I'm getting slightly hyped.

Silent Hill: Revelations 3D is the second film on the Silent Hill franchise, originally appeared in the video game series by Konami. Directed by Michael J. Bassett, and under Open Road films, the sequel will be following an 18-year old Heather Mason as mysteries about her true identity are revealed when her father inexplicably disappears. Heather, on the quest to demystify the remainders of the mystique, plights to the unnerving word of Silent Hill, wherein she's just steps closer to unspeakable evil.

The film will star Adelaide Clemens, Kit Harrington (The Game of Thrones), Sean Bean (Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief) and Radha Mitchell (The Crazies).

Silent Hill: Revelations 3D is due on theaters October 26th!
