Del Toro's by-far biggest project will star Charlie Hunnam, Charlie Day, Idris Elba, Rinko Kikuchi, Robert Kazinsky, Ron Perlman, Max Martini, Clifton Collins, Jr., Burn Gorman, Larry Joe Campbell, Diego Klattenhoff and Brad William Henke. The film, set in a nondistant future, concerns the earth, maimed by unknown, ruthless and horrendous creatures, threatening mankind. As consequence, a band of giant robots piloted by humans to battle off the creatures and stop the imminent apocalypse. If you want the official synopsis, head inside.
