Info Post
We landed on the first teaser for the Carrie remake. We also threw in the first poster for the pic which was unveiled in last weekend's New York Comic-Con. Both of these first looks, as you read more.

A retelling of the tale about a young girl named Carrie (Chloe Moretz) with telekinetic powers. A natural outcast, Carrie was always the person to be picked on at high school. Further depressed by her deeply religious mother (Julianne Moore) who makes life even more than of a stretch, Carrie unleashes demise to the whole town moments after having her worst prom ever.

Based on the Stephen King novel, Carrie is the intensely anticipated remake of the Brian De Palma (Carlito's Way) original, which swept a couple of Oscars for its actors. This time around, Kimberly Peirce, director to transgender drama Boys Don't Cry, sits on the director's chair to reborn the iconic teenage character back on screen. The pic takes Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa's screenplay.

The trailer is comprised of a lengthy chopper shot overhead the city, depicting how Carrie unleashed chaos using her powers. And if we're only looking at the visuals, I'd say without worries, Carrie is quite first-rate. But I fear if it inherits the vibe of the original which will do good or otherwise to this latest retread. As promised, we got the teaser-trailer plus the first poster for the pic. Head inside.

You'll know what happened to Carrie as you run on theaters March 15th, 2013!
