I'm a proud member of Bloody Disgusting because I always get the goods like a couple that I will share with you today (go over here to register as a member and start talking about horror). We got the first high-resolution photo for the Evil Dead remake and the full discussion panel that's happened in the Comic-Con in New York last weekend. Both you will see as you read on to the end.
Under Film District and directed by Fede Alverez, the remake of the original Sam Raimi cult classic concerns five young friends who unknowingly summons a troop of demonic creatures ('Deadites') who lives nearby the cabin they rented which tortures and maims them for dead. The pic stars Shiloh Fernandez, Lou Taylor Pucci, Elizabeth Blackmore, and Jessica Lucas. Bruce Campbell, who appeared in the original film, is rumored to appear on a role for the film.
Evil Dead is due on theaters spring next year, April 12th.
