Info Post
It occurred to me that even when Chris Hemsworth (The Avengers) isn't Thor yet, and even when Josh Hutcherson (Zathura) isn't Peeta Mellark yet, they both had shares of decent movies already.

Hemsworth starred in a well-received meta-horror, The Cabin in the Woods which cocked a high ammo in both commercial and critical fields. Hutcherson appeared in an interesting set of movies. For one, The Forger, which was shot before he was casted as Peeta Mellark for The Hunger Games, a drama centered on art forgery; and for the other, Detention, a meta-horror-com that displayed its own silly merits.

In Red Dawn, both actors cluster, alongside young actors Josh Peck (ATM, if you're into indie spirit, you must have spotted him in some movies), Adrianne Palicki, Isabel Lucas and Tom Cruise adopted son, Connor Cruise.

Delayed so that anticipated, Red Dawn is in fact a remake of a same-name original and is about a group of teenagers forced to regroup in a military domination while their parents are parted from them.

The pic, backed up by some talented crew attaching Carl Ellsworth (Disturbia, The Last House on The Left) as screenwriter, and debuting director Dan Bradley who was stunt coordinator for the Bourne and Sam Raimi Spidey franchise, looks like an enjoyable shooter action with secured pulpy action sequences and  real adrenaline.

The movie is set to open in US theaters, November 21, current year.
