Info Post

It's certainly a good thing that action icons are finally getting back on cinema with which examples star Sylvester Stallone (in Bullet to the Head, check out the trailer here), and Arnold Schwarzenegger in the upcoming The Last Stand.

Schwarzenegger's return, after The Expendables 2 that is, will be as a cop leading an unusual team trying to stop a cartel in the Mexico border. The pic, serving as Arnold's return to lead-roles, will be under the direction of Kim Jee-Woon who did many of the better Korean horrors of the generation such as I Saw the Devil.

The script behind the gritty Schwarzenegger comeback is debuting scriptwriter Andrew Knauer's with Ji-Yong Kim doing cinematography. The movie will also star Genesis Rodriguez (Man on a Ledge) and Jaimie Alexander (Thor).

Opening in theaters January 18th next year, The Last Stand finally releases its trailer. You can see the first-look below.

The movie (if it lives up to its trailer) will be an amazing entry, not only to Arnold's portfolio, but to the genre as well.
