After the teasing--if not annoying--set of fifteen-second teasers, the first REAL trailer for American Horror Story: Asylum was released by FX. This first-look is actually called Atheist and that only means either two things: that the AMS 2 crew just like naming things or that we're off to see one more or two trailer(s). Regardless, here's the long-awaited trailer for the second season of AMS, "Asylum".
The trailer looks nothing like the first season, and while it's early to say, it's equally safe to announce that this trailer is a lackluster of supernatural things that happened with last season. The trailer leads a peek to more of the psychological type of horror. My fingers are crossed, but I'm still invested in seeing Season 2, which will start October 17th on FX.
American Horror Story: Asylum will follow the unnerving events occurred in an asylum for the criminally insane in 1964, lead by a nun (Jessica Lange) and the chairman of the institution (James Cromwell). In the first episode (airing on FX, 17th of October, 10:00 pm e/p), we are going to be introduced to the mentally twisted killer Bloody Face, an inmate to the asylum.
Sarah Poulson, Zachary Quinto, Evan Peters and Lily Rabe are all coming back for completely different roles, while Adam Levine, Clea Devall, Chris Zylka, Joseph Fiennes, Chloe Sevigny, Mark Consuelos and Lizzie Brochere make it "newcomers" in the cast. The show is created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk (Glee).
