Info Post

It's only right to bring actor Paul Dano more projects because he's quite one. From working on different dramas and comedies like Ruby Sparks, Being Flynn, For Ellen and Little Miss Sunshine, Dano has been signed to sci-fi/action Looper (that doesn't come out in the Philippines until tomorrow), playing as one of time travelling assassins. This time, he is signed to a film called Prisoners, joining Hugh Jackman (X-Men Origins: The Wolverine), Jake Gyllenhaal (End of Watch) and Melissa Leo (The Fighter), as Variety reports.

Directed by Denis Villeneuve, director of the recent Incendies, the pic will be following a man's plight to finding out the idle case of his daughter and best friend's disappearance, when the authorities found the investigation's dead end. In his quest, he conflicts with the officer that is on the case.

Dano's role is yet to be disclosed, but it reads that Jackman is going to be playing Keller, the man who tries to find out about his daughter and best friend's appearance, while Gyllenhaal being the "hot-shot" detective, Loki. Mark Whalberg and Christian Bale with Bryan Singer directing was the original plan, but the setup was dropped due to some undisclosed reasons.

Under Falcon Entertainment, the film is due on theaters next fall of 2013, which reads that production is likely to start early next year, avoiding schedule conflicts with Jackman's commitment to The Wolverine.
